Big Breakfast Burger

With store-bought basil pesto and provolone cheese, this sausage and egg sandwich is a breakfast that’s worth waking up for.

Breakfast sausage patties

Basil pesto
1/4 cup
Italian-style buns, split

Packed baby spinach
1 cup
Ripe avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and sliced

Tomato
4 slices
Provolone cheese
4 slices

Preheat Floridian Portable with Griddle for 5 to 7 minutes on medium high. Brush griddle with oil. Cook sausage patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Crack eggs onto griddle; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until egg whites are set around edges. Flip over; cook for about 30 seconds for runny yolks or 60 seconds for set yolks.
Spread pesto over buns. Top with spinach, avocado, tomatoes, sausage patties, cheese and eggs.

TIP

Substitute bacon for sausage patties if desired.
