In April 2011, our Kenyon SilKEN® Induction Cooking System was awarded the Silver Excellence in Design award in the “major appliances and HVAC category” by Appliance Design magazine’s 24th Annual Excellence in Design Award Competition. This was a follow-up to our 2007 Bronze Excellence In Design award our Rio Grill received in the “outdoor leisure product” category.
The Floridian Grill’s innovation in design and technology snagged Kenyon a finalist spot for the 2008 Vesta Award. The following year, Kenyon again was named a finalist for the Texan Grill, making us the first company to be named a finalist in the same category two years in a row.
In 2010, we were honored to take home the prestigious Vesta Award presented by Hearth & Home Magazine for the Kenyon Lite-Touch Q Outdoors, which is the first UL (Underwriters Laboratories) outdoors approved electric cooktop.
The Texan Grill with IntelliKEN Touch Control™ won the 2016 IBEX Innovation Award for Furnishing & Interior Parts. IntelliKEN is a new waterproof touch control system that integrates the latest in swipe technology with user-friendly features such as Precision Control (PC) and Direct Temperature Feedback (DTF).
