Our Kenyon Grills comes standard with disposable drip trays.  So you may be wondering why we offer an optional  coated drip tray? ! Our disposable drip trays last multiple uses but eventually will need to be thrown out.

The coated drip tray offers a more permanent solution as this accessory is eco-friendly and never needs to be replaced. This custom coated aluminum drip tray is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.   Never worry about running out of drip trays again and enjoy peace of mind!

Kenyon was thrilled to be part of the Eighth Annual Vermont Cheesemakers’ Festival at Shelburne Farms on the shore of beautiful Lake Champlain on July 17th, 2016. In conjunction with locally sourced artisan Vermont vendors and Yankee Magazine, we grilled up the Ultimate Vermont Slider for hungry event goers looking for a taste of local flavors.

The ingredients for our Ultimate Vermont Sliders consisted of Beef Patties from the VT Beef Industry Council, 6-Month Aged Cheddar Cheese from Shelburne Farms, Potato Slider Rolls from the Vermont Bread Company, Gourmet Horseradish and Maple Wholegrain Mustard provided by Green Mountain Mustard and Wozz! Kitchen Creations Triple Ale Onion Spread. The burgers were every bit as fresh and delicious as they sound. You could even create your own Ultimate Vermont sliders by following the links above!

Thrillist reviewed our new SilKEN® Grill, which is a smokeless indoor grill that lets you BBQ anywhere and anytime.  Below is there review:

You know that feeling when you try to grill brisket in your bathtub over an open flame and end up almost burning your house down? No? Well, one Knoxville, TN woman actually does, as she inexplicably set up a wood-burning grill inside her tub in the name of fresh, indoor BBQ.

Amateur pitmasters, there’s an easier way. Not all grills need an open flame, nor do they all create the same amount of smoke as a 1970s diesel tractor trailer. There’s a wide world of viable options for grilling in the great indoors. One example: the Kenyon portable SilKEN Grill. Like my favorite avenue, it’s electric. There’s zero smoke. Barely any smell. And it cooks a mean wiener.

It might seem like $800 is a steep price to grill in your home/office, but it’s significantly less than a full bathroom remodel, right?

Cool Mom Tech is the intersection of tech and style, of parenting, practically and fabulosity.  It’s grown to become the go-to source for millions of parents who want common-sense info about tech delivered with a smile.

Cool Mom Tech reviewed our SilKEN® Portable Grill calling it the ultimate indoor/outdoor grill for people who thought they could never have one.

“Keep your grilling game on all year round.  What’s most impressive though isn’t the portability but the way it cooks.  My husband tends to be the grill master of the house, but with the Kenyon, I felt pretty confident in sharing that title, at least for a night. It’s so easy to operate with a single dial for controls, it gets impressively hot — around 500 degrees — so there’s really nothing I haven’t been able to grill on there.”

Urban BBQ: Embrace Indoor Grilling with Kenyon’s City Grill.  Of all summer possibilities, BBQing is easily one of the greatest. However, grilling is widely considered an activity that requires a large amount of space; many of us who live in apartment buildings, condos, or other urban spaces feel locked out of this kingdom. In reality, urban/indoor grilling is possible — especially if you get your hands on a City Grill from Kenyon. For help putting together an indoor grilling guide, we reached out to Mike Williams, the Grill Specialist for Kenyon.

1. Get an Electric Grill

Cooking with an open flame is fine when you have miles of sky above you, but not so much if you live in cramped quarters. Since electric grills do not have an open flame, they’re legit for use in apartment and condos. Though you can use any electric grill on your balcony or building roof, or any indoor-grade grill (hello, George Forman!), we really don’t think you can do any better than the City Grill.

“We noticed that there was a need for a safe grilling option,” says Williams. “We needed to make something that wouldn’t catch fire, and wouldn’t have any flare-ups or smoke. So we developed our City Grill, which eliminated all those drawbacks from grilling while giving the user the benefits of the grill marks, grill flavor, and the overall enjoyment of grilling.”

The City Grill is small, portable, and easy to use. Williams goes on to extol the main benefit of the grill: “It’s the only grill that’s UL-approved for indoor and outdoor use, so people who live in an apartment can take it outside to the balcony, or if it’s cold out they can bring it inside, and use it the exact same way they would if they were grilling outdoors.” The City Grill is meticulously designed to give off very little smoke — definitely not enough to set off a smoke alarm (or your neighbors).
